Inspired by President Bill Clinton, Kiril Domuschiev establishes own philanthropic foundation

Kiril Domuschiev, the chairman of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB), launched his own charitable foundation called Domuschiev Impact, which is "intended to influence global changes". And the creation of the new foundation was directly inspired by the 42nd US President Bill Clinton.

Mr Domuschiev announced this himself during a panel organized by the Clinton Global Initiative in Sofia which convened there following the Bulgarian businessman’s invitation.

Now, we look forward to engaging many more young leaders in this struggle," Kiril Domuschiev pointed out.

His philanthropic foundation will work in collaboration with the Clinton Global Initiative and other organizations. The platform's first commitments and agenda will be announced in the autumn when the Clinton Global Initiative will hold its annual meeting in New York.

Mr Domuschiev will go to that event accompanied by a college student from Bulgaria. In the future, the plan is to send a dozen more such students to CGI University, where the youth can gather impressions and experience from experts in the fields of business and technology and use the knowledge to solve challenges in their country and the rest of the world.

The Chairman of KRIB recalled that the world is facing many challenges, the main of which is the proliferation of conflicts that lead to energy and food insecurity on the planet.
