“Water services of tomorrow” for 4 million inhabitants of Greater Paris
Veolia Group wins Europe's largest contract in 12-year water management tender

SEDIF, the water and sewerage associations for the area around Paris (Grand Paris), has selected Veolia to manage its public water service from 2025 to 2036. Veolia's proposal meets today's challenges and complies with SEDIF's specifications and stringent requirements in 4 key areas:
- health, with optimal water quality;
- the environment, for an exemplary ecological water service;
- water pricing that preserves users' purchasing power;
- governance, with even more shared management arrangements between the contracting authority and the delegate.

This signature shows that SEDIF has fully recognized Veolia's efforts to meet its requirements in the most efficient way possible, with nearly 150 major innovations including 10 world-firsts. The Group has relied on its international expertise to build the best solution adapted to the needs of SEDIF. The contract provides water services for 4 million residents in 132 municipalities in the Paris Region over a 12-year period.
Taking into account the climate change, aridity, scarcity of fresh drinking water and droughts, Veolia is consistent in water quality, providing a water service of tomorrow that uses cutting-edge digital and artificial intelligence technologies, preserves and regenerates the water resources.
