Transition Opportunities

Project

Transition Opportunities (TOP) - 101122076

Period

1 October 2023 – 30 September 2024

Implementation

Brand Media Bulgaria, co-funded by the European Union

Objectives

Experts admit that despite the plans and strategies, a major problem for coal regions in transition remains communication with local communities. The creation of efficient mechanisms for ongoing engagement with citizens, involving politicians at local, regional, national and European levels, is key to the success of the transition. Innovative and well-targeted approaches are only successful when citizens can express their ideas and expectations about what their future should look like and decision-makers take them into account as a starting point.
