Businesses are mainly looking for low and medium-skilled personnel. This was the opinion stated by Kristiana Kazandzhieva, manager of Agenda BG, during the seminar "Opportunities for Entrepreneurship in Pernik", organized by Brand Media Bulgaria within the framework of the EU-funded project TOP JOBS, in partnership with the Municipality of Pernik.
She shared that her company works with small and medium-sized enterprises in all Bulgarian coal regions. Two projects to promote SMEs have already been implemented in Stara Zagora and Pernik.
I am glad that in these areas we can talk not only about the challenges of the Recovery Plan but also about the opportunities."
According to her, it is important for small start-ups not to give up, but to continue working with perseverance and tenacity.
Reskilling opportunities are provided by the Training Centers, which can retrain their staff thanks to 100% grant assistance. This means retraining not only in professional qualifications but also in digital skills, developing business plans and soft skills.
There is also a Just Transition Fund resource, which is only available to coal regions.
There is money for everyone, we just have to take it," she emphasized.
