The Largest Security Industry Event in Southeast Europe

The largest event of the security industry in Southeast Europe, the Adria Security Summit 2024, will be held on October 9-10 at the Convention Center of the Hills Hotel in Sarajevo. More than 3,000 participants will attend the conference part of the Summit, which will include lectures, presentations, case studies, and panel discussions, as well as the exhibition area where more than 160 exhibitors will showcase the latest advancements in the security sector.

The organizer of Adria Security Summit 2024 is the Magazine a&s Adria, a professional magazine for comprehensive security solutions, which is part of the world's largest group of security magazines – a&s Group. The event is organized in collaboration with the professional chambers of Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, North Macedonia, and this year's host – the Chamber of Security Guards of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Announcing the event on behalf of the organizers, Adis Hodžić emphasized that the team at a&s Adria is proud to host the gathering of the security industry from around the world. “The Adria Security Summit is a platform for knowledge exchange, discussions on important topics, networking, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders in the sector: manufacturers, distributors, system integrators, service providers, and indispensable end-users. This year, the Summit will host more than 5,000 business-to-business meetings, which will contribute to the development of the industry and create new value for the business community,” said Hodžić, adding that a large number of additional guests from Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, and other countries are expected.

This is an industry that evolves daily to meet market needs. The security sector is much more than alarms and surveillance cameras. Its seven branches include commercial security, cybersecurity, smart devices (Internet of Things), information and communication technologies (ICT), smart solutions, automation, and mobility. All of these will be addressed in some way at the Adria Security Summit 2024,” Hodžić emphasized, adding that the Summit is returning to Sarajevo after nine years during which it was organized annually throughout the region.

In the exhibition part of the event, visitors will have the opportunity to see solutions from global manufacturers such as Konica Minolta, Bosch, Siemens, Huawei, Canon, Motorola Solutions, Samsung, and others. Following the recognized mission of the Adria Security Summit to promote progress and recognize outstanding individual and organizational contributions, a new feature of this year's edition will be the awards for excellence in the industry. The awards will be presented in 10 categories to individuals and organizations that have created new value and innovations in the security industry.
