By participating in the debates, Glavbolgarstroy demonstrated its commitment to implementing modern technologies and creating sustainable and cost-effective solutions for the industry. The company also expressed its readiness to support important initiatives related to training qualified personnel, solving labor shortage problems and promoting economic growth.
During his visit to Davos, Kalin Peshov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Glavbolgarstroy Holding, took part in a high-level strategic meeting organized by the UN Global Compact Network. The event brought together leaders from various economic sectors who discussed the current challenges facing business in the context of the complex geopolitical situation. During the meeting, various approaches and ideas used in the business strategies of companies participating in the Annual Meeting were presented.
Kalin Peshov also held a work meeting with Antonio Hautle, Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. During the discussion, the role of the private sector in supporting economic growth through the implementation of the UN Global Compact principles was discussed. Emphasis was placed on technological advances in the construction sector and the long-term economic benefits of investments in effective projects.
Among the topics of discussion were the possibilities for introducing good practices in the field of financial management and transparency. These approaches not only contribute to increasing the competitiveness of businesses but also provide significant economic benefits for local communities.
Among the key international meetings in Davos was a conversation with representatives of the second largest state in India, Tamil Nadu, whose GDP for 2023-2024 exceeds $323 billion.
