On 7 and 8 October, Zagreb Fair welcomed more than 3,000 participants from over 50 countries for Adria Security Summit 2026 – the largest security industry event in Southeast Europe, organised by a&s Adria trade magazine.
Over the two days, 160 exhibitors showcased a wide range of products and services in electronic security and other areas of the security industry. Numerous business meetings also took place between manufacturers, distributors, system integrators and users of security solutions. The exhibition and conference programme gave participants an opportunity to explore new technologies firsthand, exchange professional insights and discuss partnerships aimed at enhancing security and supporting business growth.

The eleventh edition of the Summit once again fulfilled its mission. We brought people together and provided a platform for new business opportunities and partnerships. By welcoming European and global companies to our region, we enabled local professionals and businesses to establish direct connections with international partners while showcasing their own expertise and solutions,” said Mahir Hodžić, Chair of the Adria Security Summit Organising Committee.
He added that these meetings are particularly valuable at a time of multiple crises and rapid technological change, which bring both new opportunities and increasingly complex challenges to the security industry.
“Sharing our experiences and working together will help us find the answers,” he said.
This year's Summit brought together topics of physical and cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, applications of artificial intelligence, smart technologies and fire protection. The conference programme offered a broader perspective on the changes shaping the security sector, while the exhibition demonstrated how the technologies presented are being applied in practice.
Across 44 talks, panel discussions and presentations, representatives of the industry, the public and private sectors, and end users explored market needs and opportunities to improve the protection of people, property and business processes. The event was supported by all regional security industry associations.
The event concluded with the presentation of the a&s Adria Awards 2026, recognising achievements and innovation in the security industry. The awards highlight products, services and projects that contribute to the development of security solutions and their practical application, from access control and fire protection to cybersecurity and smart cities.
