Bulgarian company Cineland to open a 2.2-million-euro movie theater in Varna
It will be located in Grand Mall - Varna and is expected to start operating at the end of the year
Cineland, a Bulgarian movie theater chain, plans to open a cinema in Grand Mall – Varna. The company will invest over 2.2 million euros in the creation of an ultra-modern cinema complex, which is expected to start operating at the end of 2024.
After the renovation, the cinema complex will have 9 halls, equipped with 845 armchairs, each with individual tables and mechanisms for personalizing the sitting position.
This partnership marks another important step in the expansion of Cineland's presence in Bulgaria, after the successful establishment of our chain in the cities of Sofia, Pernik, Veliko Tarnovo, Pleven, Gabrovo, Karlovo and Targovishte," the company reports.
Cineland opened its first cinema in Bulgaria Mall (Sofia) in 2023.
The company launched its activity in 2015 with two movie theaters in Gabrovo. By 2022, it already had cinemas in the cities of Karlovo, Pleven, Targovishte and Veliko Tarnovo and a cinema complex in Mall Pernik. The company also runs several summer cinemas in the cities of Ahtopol, Kiten, Veliko Tarnovo, Pernik and Sofia.
