Romanian Security Summit – the first event dedicated to eastern Europe’s security industry – officially opens
The inaugural Romanian Security Summit, an event dedicated to the security industry in Eastern Europe, was officially opened today in Bucharest. Over the next two days, the Summit will bring together more than 2,000 participants, 70 exhibitors, and leading global brands from the fields of physical and digital security.
The Summit’s goal is to foster knowledge exchange, showcase innovation, and strengthen cooperation between industry, institutions, and academia. The event is jointly organized by the Romanian Association for Security Technology (ARTS) and the professional magazine a&s Adria, with the support of Messe Frankfurt, the global leader in trade fair organization and security media publishing.

We live in an era of accelerated change, in which security threats are becoming increasingly complex and interconnected. From traditional physical security, to the challenges brought by hybrid warfare and crime cyber, it is essential to always be one step ahead,” said Mircea Ciordas, President of ARTS
Adding that technology – especially artificial intelligence, smart sensors, and integrated smart city solutions – is redefining how we approach these challenges.

Over the course of two days, the Romanian Security Summit combines a rich conference program with an exhibition area where visitors can experience the latest innovations in video surveillance, automation, cybersecurity, and integrated systems. More than 30 speakers from Romania and abroad will address key trends and strategies shaping the future of security, while B2B meetings and networking sessions will enable companies to build new partnerships and business connections.
After ten successful years of organizing the Adria Security Summit, we are pleased to launch, together with our Romanian partners, a new regional platform that brings together the entire spectrum of the security industry – from technology and innovation to education and collaboration. The Romanian Security Summit already demonstrates the vast potential and growing interest of the Eastern European market”, said Adis Hodžić on behalf of a&s Adria magazine.

The Romanian Security Summit is also supported by the Romanian Police and the Department for Emergency Situations. The event forms part of a broader regional network of security summits across Southeast Europe, aimed at advancing industry standards, innovation, and international cooperation.
